The Living Honorarium (founded by Gwinnett County Commissioner, Shirley Lasseter) was unveiled in a Sept 11th tribute ceremony at Duluth Town Square. Keynote speaker Kelvin (Kelly) Kelkenberg, Colonel, USAF, Ret. led the crowd in publicly honoring all our local “heroes” (Fireman, Policmen, EMS and Military) who protect and serve us on a daily basis.
And now Oct 15th is almost here, time for the Duluth Merchants Association (DMA) “Light Up the Living Honorarium” Motorcycle Fundraiser ride. Funds raised from this event will be donated by DMA to pay for the perpetual lighting for the Living Honorarium.
